On October 23, SilverRocket's GT4 RS SR EVO 2 set a new lap record for street-legal GT4 RS cars at the Porsche Official GT Track Day at Shanghai International Circuit, with a time of 2:11.28. This is an improvement of 2.63 seconds over last year's record of 2:13.91 set by the SilverRocket GT4 RS SR EVO 1, and it ties the official production car lap record of 2:11.28 recently achieved by Porsche factory driver Lars Kern in the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT.
